Adirondack Great Camps

Adirondack Great Camps, dating from the Gilded Age at the turn of the century, are considered the “Jewels of the Adirondacks.” For more than 50 years, Great Camp Sagamore served as the summer retreat of the Alfred G. Vanderbilt and Margaret Emerson family.

Sagamore is the only Adirondack Great Camp open to the public that offers residential learning programs and tours from May to October.
